"I’ve been doing coaching with Ann since the end of January and it has been extremely helpful in getting a grip on the chaos in my career. For some added context I am pivoting in my career (going from full-time employment to freelance), and her guidance helped me to stay on track with defining and keeping an eye on my goals. Every week (or second week) we would have a session discussing the state of my career and work. We chatted about where I felt like I was succeeding and failing in my new endeavour, and she asked fantastic questions to guide me to my own answers. When I needed her input as to how I should handle a specific situation she offered some avenues that I could look into. She is also helping me to understand my own short and long term goals in my career and company. A few days before our next session Ann sends me a session recap of the previous session and a list of goals that I have committed to. This keeps me accountable, and allows me to reframe my week to ensure that I am focusing on the right things (time management and prioritization of tasks has never been my strong suit). I also did a career assessment with Ann and it revealed a lot of things about my skills and motivations that I wasn’t even aware of! Discussions that followed this, as well as concise reports helped me to guide the transition that I am currently making in my career. Without Ann’s coaching I would be rife with confusion and uncertainty. Thanks to Ann my work life is productive yet balanced. With Ann helping me to stay accountable I can rest easy knowing that I am giving it my all!"
